Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north in settled weather only. Rocky bottom with poor holding, so drop the anchor between rock heads on patches of sand and buoy the chain. Exposed to any N to NE swell. Port-Tudy lies 1.4 nm east.
Practical
Open anchorage with no services. No landing jetty. Tender ashore on the pebble beach at the head of the cove when the sea is flat.
Ashore
Coastal footpath GR 34 passes above the cove and leads east to Port-Lay and Port-Tudy in about 45 minutes on foot. The écomusée de Groix in Port-Tudy covers the island's tuna fishing past.
