Approach and anchoring
Enter from the main Arcachon Bay channel then follow the local marks toward the Bétey creek. Wide drying banks around the approach, so arrival within two hours of high water is needed. Shallow-draught boats only.
Practical
151 berths managed by the town. Water on pontoons. The oyster port of Andernos lies 0.8 NM to the NW and Port de Fontainevieille 1.1 NM to the SE.
Ashore
Andernos-les-Bains jetty runs 232 metres into the bay, a short walk from the harbour. Shops and weekly market in the town centre within 500 metres. Sandy bay beaches next to the port.
