Approach and anchoring
Shallow tidal basin. Approach via the marked channels of the Bassin at sufficient rising water and favour the chart-sounded patches off Taussat. Sand bottom. The site is sheltered from most quadrants by the surrounding spit and shores but fully dries or nearly so at low water on spring tides.
Practical
Port de Fontainevieille lies 0.2 nm N and the Club Nautique Taussat-Cassy 0.4 nm SE for launching, dinghy landing and basic shore access.
