Approach and anchoring
Approach from the E in the rade d'Hyères, clear of the shoals off the salt marshes of Pesquiers. Entrance through a narrow channel between two jetties. Max draught 1.5 m, small craft only. VHF 9.
Practical
198 berths, water and electricity on pontoons, sanitary block. No fuel berth at La Capte, nearest at Port Saint-Pierre 0.9 NM N. Port du Niel 2.1 NM SW on the Giens peninsula as alternative.
Ashore
Plage de La Capte directly east of the harbour, part of the 4 km sandy beach of the eastern tombolo. Route du Sel cycle path along the salt pans to the presqu'île de Giens, departure point for Porquerolles ferries at La Tour Fondue 4 km S.
