Approach and anchoring

Access by lake only, no tidal constraint. Watch the variable lake level which drops several metres in late summer and exposes shallows near the shore. VHF 14 for port contact. Port de Chadenas lies 0.5 NM to the NE if berths are full.

Practical

18 berths, mostly for local boats. Limited visitor capacity. No fuel berth on site, nearest fuel at the Savines-le-Lac capitainerie across the lake.

Ashore

Abbaye de Boscodon, a 12th century Chalaisian monastery, sits 3 km up the hillside above Crots. Forest trails of the Foret de Boscodon start from the abbey. Village of Crots with bakery and small shops is 2 km inland.
