Approach and anchoring
Freshwater approach, no tides. Water level drops markedly at the end of the summer season due to EDF reservoir drawdown. Arrive from the main basin of the lake. Port de Chanterenne 0.5 NM SW, Port de la Capitainerie 3 NM W for fuel.
Practical
42 berths for lake craft. Basic pontoon services. Nearest fuel at the capitainerie 3 NM west. Puy-Sanières village with limited services up the hillside, Embrun at about 6 km for full shopping.
Ashore
Belvédère de Chadenas reached by a 20-minute walk from the port, one of the main viewpoints over the lake. Forêt domaniale de Boscodon and its 13th-century Cistercian abbey at about 5 km. Embrun old town with its 12th-century cathedral at 6 km.
