Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the lake. Short entrance channel between two breakwaters. Maximum draught 1.8 metres, suitable for small craft only. Exposed to the bise from the north-east.
Practical
69 berths, water on the quays. Limited visitor capacity. Village of Amphion-les-Bains 300 metres inland with bakery and grocery. Évian-les-Bains 4 km east by the lake shore road.
Ashore
Hôtel des Princes, a former 19th-century lake resort building, stands 0.6 nautical miles east along the shore. Port Ripaille lies 1.3 nautical miles west, with the Château de Ripaille nearby, the 15th-century residence of the Duke of Savoy Amadeus VIII. Évian spa town and thermal springs 4 km east by road.
