Approach and anchoring
Approach from offshore clear of the Trégor reefs. Rocky seabed gives poor holding, drop on sand patches between the rocks when possible. Strong tidal streams on the ebb running NW. VHF 16. Locquirec drying harbour 1.4 NM to the W.
Practical
Day anchorage only in settled northerly weather. Locquirec village to the W for shops and the sailing school. Locquémeau 2.9 NM to the NE as a fallback port in westerlies.
