Approach and anchoring
Approach from offshore in settled weather. Sand with weed on the bottom, so set the anchor firmly and check the holding. Open to the west and south-west, protected from N through SE. Nearest shelter at Locquémeau, 2.3 NM north, or Locquirec, 3 NM west.
Practical
No services on site. Daytime stop only in fair weather. For fuel, water or a secure berth, head to Locquirec drying harbour or Locquémeau.
Ashore
Sandy beach of Saint-Michel-en-Grève at the head of the bay, backed by the D786 coast road. GR34 coastal path runs along the shore, linking Locquémeau to the east and Saint-Efflam to the west. Small shops in the village of Saint-Michel-en-Grève.
