Approach and anchoring
Approach from the N in settled weather. Sand bottom. The cove is open from W through S to E, so only usable in light offshore winds from the N quadrant. Rocky heads extend from both points flanking the beach.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no facilities ashore. Locquémeau drying harbour 0.9 NM W and Beg hent 0.9 NM E provide the nearest shelter. Village shops at Locquémeau.
Ashore
GR34 coast path runs above the beach, linking Locquémeau to the Pointe de Séhar and the Léguer estuary. Chapelle de Saint-Michel on the hill above Locquémeau.
