Approach and anchoring
Approach at mid to high water, the area dries widely at low water spring tides and a sand causeway links Callot to Carantec. Sand and rock bottom, careful placement needed to avoid rocky patches. Sheltered from N, NE, E, S and SE winds. Exposed to W and NW.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no facilities on the island. Roscoff-Bloscon marina is 2.5 nm NW with fuel, water and full services. Port Diben lies 4.3 nm NE.
Ashore
Chapel of Notre-Dame de Callot at the north end of the island, about 2 km on foot along the ridge. Shops and restaurants in Carantec village, reachable on foot across the tidal causeway at low water, around 2 km from the beach.
