Approach from the north through the Canal de l'Ile de Batz, watching the strong tidal stream that runs up to 4 knots at springs. Holding on rock is poor and kelp patches are common. The marina of Roscoff-Bloscon lies 1.1 NM NW and offers refuge in any weather.
Practical
Water available ashore. No services on the anchorage itself. All shops, bakeries and restaurants in the old town within walking distance.
Ashore
Old town of Roscoff with 16th century granite houses and the Notre-Dame-de-Croaz-Batz church from 1545. Ferry terminal to Plymouth and Cork at Bloscon. Ile de Batz reachable by passenger ferry from the old harbour, 15 minutes crossing.
