Approach and anchoring
Entry from the petite rade de Toulon through the passe between Saint-Mandrier and La Seyne. The baie du Lazaret is sheltered from the east and south by the Saint-Mandrier peninsula. Maximum draught 1.1 m, so keep to the marked channel at low water. VHF channel 9 for the harbour office.
Practical
780 berths on pontoons. Maximum draught 1.1 m limits the marina to small and mid-size craft. Refuges close by: Port Pin Rolland 0.3 NM east and Saint-Elme 0.4 NM south.
Ashore
Shore path along the baie leads to the mussel and oyster farms of Tamaris, the only shellfish farming area inside a French military harbour. Tamaris seaside district and its villas from the 1880s lie 1 km east. Bus line 81M links the marina to La Seyne-sur-Mer town centre in about 15 minutes.
