Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom, holding reasonable. Shelter from SW, W and NW. Fully exposed to N and NE winds that build a short chop across the bay. Clear approach from the south, no charted dangers within the immediate swinging circle.
Practical
No services. Saint-Cast-Port d'Armor marina 1.2 nm north has 800 berths, water, diesel and full shore facilities. Port du Chatelet 2.6 nm south-east is a small drying harbour for tenders.
Ashore
Saint-Cast beach runs 2 km along the bay, reached by dinghy. GR 34 coastal path passes above the anchorage and links to Cap Frehel in about 15 km to the west.
