Approach and anchoring
Approach close to the coast from Les Goudes heading SW. Rock bottom, holding is poor and the hook often drags: check the set and use a trip line. Water available within the anchorage. Exposed to S and SW swell. Port des Goudes at 0.4 NM NE and Port de la Madrague at 1.4 NM NE serve as refuges when the swell builds.
Practical
Forain anchorage inside the marine zone of the Parc national des Calanques. Anchoring rules apply: stay off seagrass beds, fines enforced. Water point reported. Les Goudes village offers two small fishing ports and a handful of fish restaurants.
Ashore
Sentier des Goudes climbs into the calanques from the village, linking to Callelongue at 1 km and the Calanque de Marseilleveyre further west. Bus 20 from Les Goudes to central Marseille.
