Approach and anchoring

Approach from the north through the pass between the islet and the mainland, depths around 6 to 10 metres with an isolated danger buoy on the shallow rock known as Tiboulen de Maire. Holding on rock is poor, a sand patch can be found close to the north-east shore. Exposed to the mistral from the north-west and to the west swell.

Practical

No services on the islet. Refuge at Port des Goudes 0.5 NM east or Port de la Madrague 1.4 NM north-east, both small fishing harbours with limited visitor berths. Mooring forbidden inside the no-take zone on the southern face of the islet, check the park signage.

Ashore

Landing is regulated, the islet belongs to the core area of the Calanques national park. Port des Goudes village 0.5 NM away has two restaurants and a bus stop for line 20 to central Marseille. Sentier du littoral starts from Cap Croisette.
