Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Passe des Croisettes between Maïre and Cap Croisette, with reefs on both sides. Sand and rock bottom, holding variable on rock. Sheltered from NW, N, NE and W winds, fully exposed to swell from S and SE. Avoid in mistral gusts that accelerate around the island.
Practical
No facilities. Closest harbour Port des Goudes 0.7 NM NE, La Madrague de Montredon 1.6 NM NE for water and small chandlery.
Ashore
Île Maïre is uninhabited, landing is restricted. Sentier du littoral starts at Les Goudes village and runs to Callelongue in about 45 minutes on foot. Snack bars and a small grocery in Les Goudes at 0.7 NM.
