Approach and anchoring
Approach from the sea rounding Cap Croisette. Sand and algae bottom, re-set if the anchor drags on posidonia patches. Protected from N, NE, E and NW. Open to S and SW swell, untenable in Libeccio.
Practical
Anchorage only, no facilities. Mooring buoys installed by the Parc national in summer to protect posidonia meadows, use them where available. Port des Goudes 0.8 NM NW and Port de la Madrague 1.5 NM N for refuge.
Ashore
Coastal footpath GR 98-51 runs above the calanque, links to Callelongue and the Marseilleveyre summits. The Parc national des Calanques, created in 2012, covers the coast from Marseille to Cassis. Seasonal swimming in the cove, depths drop quickly to 5 m.
