Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached by water from the Intracoastal Waterway through the bay channels off Cortez. By road, take Cortez Road to 115th Street and turn north. The deep-water basin is fenced and gated.
Practical
Berths take boats up to 65 feet and catamarans up to 30 feet of beam. Every berth has fresh water, shore power, a pump-out connection and wifi. There are heads, showers and a laundry on site.
Ashore
The historic fishing village of Cortez is a short walk away, with the Florida Maritime Museum, the working commercial fishing fleet and several waterfront seafood restaurants. The mangroves around Palma Sola Bay hold wading birds, and dolphins and manatees use the bay.
