Approach and anchoring
The marina lies on the Intracoastal side of Anna Maria Island and is reached by water through Anna Maria Sound. Berths take vessels up to 30 feet.
Practical
There are 19 berths, each with fresh water and shore power. The fuel dock dispenses non-ethanol 89-octane petrol from an above-ground tank. A marine mechanic works on site and Island Discount Tackle, the chandlery and bait shop, sells gear, live and frozen bait and fishing licences. Fishing charters operate from the dock.
History
The site has been used for boating businesses since the early 1960s. The Keyes family took over Island Discount Tackle in 2009 and the marina in 2011.
