Superyacht marina on Terminal Island off the MacArthur Causeway, at the entrance to Government Cut in Miami Beach, Florida.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from Government Cut, the deep ship channel that connects Biscayne Bay to the Atlantic. Berths take vessels from roughly 30 to 244 metres LOA, with up to 12 metres draught. Call ahead on VHF 16. The marina sits just outside the Captain of the Port boundary, which removes the 96-hour advance notice of arrival for inbound foreign-flagged yachts.
Practical
Around 8 to 10 large berths with shore power, fresh water and full concierge support aimed at megayachts. A 24-hour security gate and on-site patrol are in place, and the US Coast Guard station is alongside. Miami Beach shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
Story
The marina is run by IGY Marinas and is one of the few US facilities that regularly berths yachts of more than 100 metres.
