Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Potomac, leaving the marina to port near Marker 90. Maximum air draught under the Woodrow Wilson bridge is about 60 feet. VHF channel 16. Floating docks with full-length finger piers and alongside dockage up to 150 feet for larger vessels.
Practical
Around 81 berths taking craft up to 120 feet, with a fuel berth, shore power, gated access, showers and laundry. Transient berths can be booked through Dockwa or by phone on 301 749 1582. A dock-and-dine arrangement is offered for short stays.
Ashore
The waterfront district has dozens of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the berths. The Capital Wheel, a 180-foot observation wheel, stands on the pier. Tanger Outlets and the MGM resort are a short walk inland.
