Approach and anchoring
Reached from the main Potomac channel below Washington, DC. Call the dock master on VHF 16. Vessels up to 200 ft can be taken, and short-term docking up to four hours runs first-come, first-served.
Practical
About 22 transient slips plus seawall space, with 30, 50 and 100 amp shore power, fresh water and pumpout. Heads and showers for overnight crews. Located at 0 Cameron Street; dock master 703 746-5487.
Ashore
The Torpedo Factory Art Center stands directly behind the marina, with King Street's shops and restaurants running uphill. Founders Park lies just to the north and the Mount Vernon Trail passes close by.
