Approach from the baie de Morlaix. Shelter from W through S to SE, fully exposed to winds from the N and NE quadrants. Holding on sand and mud is generally reported as adequate by the plaisanciers. Keep clear of the oyster and seaweed beds that give the spot its name.
Practical
No shore facilities at the anchorage itself. Nearest harbour is Port Diben at 3.9 NM to the NE, and the marina of Roscoff-Bloscon at 4.7 NM to the NW for fuel, water and provisions.
