Approach and anchoring
Access through the Arcachon pass, then north up the western channel. Bottom of sand and seagrass, tenure variable on the algae patches. Shelter from NW, W and SW winds, exposed to easterlies sweeping across the basin. Strong tidal streams on the ebb.
Practical
No services on site. Club Nautique de Claouey 0.8 nm NE for landing by tender, village of Le Canon 2.8 nm SW. Watch the drying banks at low water of spring tides.
