Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Carquinez Strait, deep-water channel used by commercial shipping. The marina sits on the south shore just east of the Benicia-Martinez bridges. Strong ebb currents in the strait, plan entry near slack water on spring tides. Public launch ramp and fishing pier mark the entrance.
Practical
332 berths for boats from 20 to 45 feet. Shore power 30A, fresh water, WiFi, pumpout, heads with showers, laundry. Owned by the City of Martinez, managed by F3 Marina. Martinez Yacht Club adjacent to the east.
Ashore
Marina sits inside Waterfront Park: walking trails, dog park, picnic areas and playing fields on site. Downtown Martinez at 800 metres on foot, with restaurants and grocery. John Muir National Historic Site at 3 km, home of the conservationist from 1890 to 1914.
