Approach and anchoring

Set just downstream of the Madisonville bridge on the Tchefuncte River, with an open run out to Lake Pontchartrain. A 300 metre side-tie offers overnight berthing for visitors, plus a further stretch of daytime side-tie.

Practical

Over 500 wet berths, both covered and open, plus covered and open dry storage and jet ski berths. Fresh water, shore power, a fuel berth and a pump-out station. Showers ashore, and the Reels Waterfront Bar and Grill on site since 2024.

Ashore

Tchefuncte river tours and fishing charters leave from the marina. The town of Madisonville and its shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum is about 1 km away.
