Open anchorage off the beach of Saint-Énogat on the west side of Dinard, facing the bay of Saint-Malo.

Approach and anchoring
Rocky bottom, holding uncertain, use of a buoy or a fair-weather stop only. Exposed to north and north-east winds, protected from south to south-west. Dinard lies 0.9 NM to the south-east, Saint-Malo Les Sablons 1.7 NM to the east. Strong tidal range typical of the Rance area, up to 13 m at equinox springs.
Practical
Mouillage forain without services. Beach supervised in summer by the Dinard commune. Shops and restaurants of Dinard reached by the Promenade du Clair de Lune in about 20 minutes on foot.
Ashore
Villa Les Roches Brunes on the headland above the beach, built in 1896, visible from the anchorage. Promenade du Clair de Lune coast path links Saint-Énogat to Dinard centre at 1.5 km. Plage de l'Écluse, the main Dinard beach, lies 1 km to the east.
