Approach and anchoring

The marina lies at the river mouth and is found by following the channel markers 7 and 8 inbound. It is within walking distance of De Soto National Memorial.

Practical

There are 42 wet slips for vessels up to 51 feet. A 35-ton travel lift takes beams up to 17 feet. Hull work, antifouling and inboard and outboard engine repairs are handled on site. Recreational ethanol-free fuel is available, and the Boca Bait Company sells tackle, live bait and provisions.

Ashore

De Soto National Memorial is within walking distance of the marina, on the south bank of the Manatee River where it joins Tampa Bay. The 26-acre park has a nature trail through coastal mangrove and offers living history demonstrations of the 1539 De Soto landing.
