Guide
Approach and anchoring
The cove lies off the St. George River, which runs roughly 12 miles south-west from Thomaston to Muscongus Bay. Anchor on mud and expect lobster pots along the river; the nearest fuel and chandlery are at Rockland, around 11 miles to the north-east.
Practical
Holding is on mud and the cove gives shelter in winds from all directions. There are no facilities on site; Landings Marina and Journey's End Marina at Rockland, both 11 to 12 miles to the north-east, are the nearest ports for fuel, water and provisions.
