New Hampshire Port Authority pier in Hampton Harbour, at the south end of Hampton Beach, about 7 miles south of Rye Harbour.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
The harbour entrance off Hampton Beach is exposed and the river shoals fast over mud flats. Launch from high to mid tide, as an ebb leaves little water near the ramp. The all-tide ramp sits next to the state pier.
Practical
The state facility carries the only diesel and unleaded fuel pumps on the river. Floating berths take about 135 boats up to 60 feet, with depths of 5 to 7 feet alongside, though dockage is largely reserved for permitted commercial vessels. Harbour office on 603 929-0347.
