Approach and anchoring
On the tidal Merrimack, with about 25 feet of average depth alongside. The river runs strongly on the ebb; arrive on a fair tide. Open 15 May to 15 October.
Practical
Dockage for around 60 boats taking up to 80 feet, plus 27 moorings. A 4,000 square foot boathouse, a 50-ton travel lift, a launch ramp and 2 acres of outdoor winter storage. Step-free heads. Address 386 Merrimac Street.
History
Brown's Marine Service ran the site from the late 1960s; the Guertin family took it over in 2002 and rebuilt the facility.
