Approach from the Meuse canalised waterway. Pontoon on the right bank between two road bridges. Current stays below 1 knot except in flood. Locks operated by VNF telecommande from April to October.

Ten places along a single pontoon, water on the quay, electricity by token at the capitainerie of the main port. No fuel at the halt itself, nearest pump 400 m at the Port de Plaisance.

Place Ducale and the Musee Arthur Rimbaud lie within 1 km on foot through the town centre. Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes cycle route passes at 50 m.
