Approach from the east through the gulf entrance. Sand bottom, good holding. Shelter from N, W, NW, S and SW. Exposed to the E where the gulf is open to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Practical
Anchor only, no infrastructure. Porto-Vecchio is 5.5 NM N for fuel, water and berths.
Ashore
Quiet shore with scattered villas and maquis. Beach of Porto Novo at the head of the gulf, 500 m from the anchorage. Road access from the D468A inland.
