Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west. Mixed bottom of sand, rock and posidonia, drop on clear sand patches to avoid the seagrass. Protection from N, NE, E and NW. Open to the SW, leave before the libeccio sets in.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Cargèse 1.5 NM SE has a small harbour, water and shops. Port de Sagone 5.5 NM SE as a fallback on southerly weather.
Ashore
Cargèse village on the headland, with two churches facing each other, one Latin and one Greek Catholic, a legacy of the Greek community settled here in 1676.
