Approach and anchoring

Lake Montauk opens to Block Island Sound through an inlet at its north end. East Lake Marina sits within sight of the inlet, so the open water is a few minutes away. Deep-water dockage takes boats over 15 metres.

Practical

Around 20 to 22 berths with dockside fresh water and shore power, diesel and petrol, free wifi, and a beachside deck. Gin Beach and Montauk Point are a short distance away.

Ashore

Gin Beach, on Block Island Sound, is a short walk north of the marina. Theodore Roosevelt County Park, over 1,000 acres of dunes and trails, lies on the far shore of Lake Montauk.
