Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand and algae bottom. Shelter from N, W, NW and SW, exposed to the east and SE. Drop clear of posidonia patches and hold on the sand. Port d'Agay lies 1.6 nm west inside its deep round bay, Port du Poussaï 2.4 nm SW as fallbacks.
Ashore
Anthéor beach and the Corniche d'Or road run along the shore. The Viaduc d'Anthéor, built in 1863 on the Nice-Marseille railway, was repeatedly bombed by Allied aviation in 1943 and 1944 to cut the German supply line and rebuilt after the war. Massif de l'Estérel hiking trails start directly from the coast.
