Approach and anchoring
Open to SW, W and NW winds; use only with settled northerly or easterly conditions. Bottom is sand and Posidonia; drop on sand patches to avoid the seagrass. Porquerolles village lies 2.2 nm W round the west end of the island, Port Auguier 4.8 nm W.
Practical
No services on site. The south coast of Porquerolles falls under the national park rules: no waste discharge, no fishing without a permit, mooring on ecological buoys where fitted.
Ashore
Footpath to the Calanque du Brégançonnet and the signal station at Semaphore de Porquerolles. Network of cycling tracks links the south coast to the village and the Plage Notre-Dame to the north.
