Small anchorage on the south coast of Porquerolles, within the Parc national de Port-Cros, the oldest marine national park in Europe, established in 1963.

Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south in clear water, rocky points on either side. Shelter from NW, N, NE, W and SW winds, fully open to the south and east swell. Mixed bottom of sand, rock and posidonia, anchoring on the seagrass beds is forbidden by the park regulation.

Practical

No services on site. Use the ecological mooring buoys maintained by the park whenever a slot is free. Porquerolles village harbour at 1.1 NM to the N for water, fuel and provisions, Port Auguier 3.7 NM to the NW.

Ashore

Network of marked paths crosses the island from the south coast calanques up to the semaphore and the lighthouse of Porquerolles at roughly 2 km. Plage Notre-Dame, one of the largest beaches of the island, lies on the north coast about 3 km by path.
