Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east between Île Jarre and Île Riou. Sandy patches among Posidonia seagrass, anchoring on the seagrass is prohibited under park regulations. Shelter from W, SW, S and SE, exposed to the mistral from N and NW. VHF 9.
Practical
No facilities. Port des Goudes 1.4 NM NW and Port de la Madrague 2.2 NM N for water and basic supplies.
Ashore
Within the Calanques National Park established in 2012, the only peri-urban land and marine national park in Europe. Île Jarre is closed to landing from March to August to protect breeding seabirds including Audouin's gull and shag.
