Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the S along the coast from the Riou archipelago or from the W rounding the Pointe des Croisettes. Sand bottom. Shelter from SW, S and SE. Exposed to the mistral from the NW, which accelerates off the coast and makes holding unreliable when it blows.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Regulated zone of the Parc national des Calanques, consult the current ZMEL and no-anchor seagrass chart before dropping the hook. Port des Goudes 2.6 NM to NW and Port de la Madrague 3.4 NM to N for dinghy landings and small shops.
Ashore
Hamlet of Callelongue at the end of the D8E coast road with two restaurants by the slipway. Start of the GR 98-51 coastal trail leading to the calanques of Marseilleveyre and Podestat within the national park.
