Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south in daylight. Rock bottom, holding is uncertain and anchoring on posidonia is prohibited inside the national park: pick a sand patch. Shelter from W and NW; exposed to the E and SE swell and fully open to the mistral when it veers S.
Practical
No facilities. Short swim or tender run to the small beach at the head of the nearby calanques. Nearest harbours are Port de Morgiou 3.1 NM NE and Port des Goudes 3.4 NM NW.
Ashore
The point lies within the Parc national des Calanques, created in 2012 as the first peri-urban national park in Europe. Coastal footpath GR98-51 runs above the cliffs, linking Morgiou and Sormiou on foot in about two hours. Swimming regulations and no-anchor zones change seasonally, check the park's nautical map before arrival.
