Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Baie de Saint-Brieuc on a heading of 270. The outer harbour dries, leading to a lock gate giving access to the wet basin. The lock opens from HW minus 2 hours to HW plus 1 hour on tides over coefficient 40. Lateral buoys mark the channel. Exposed to easterly winds in the approach. VHF channel 9.
Practical
350 berths in the wet basin, visitor pontoon opposite the capitainerie. Water, electricity, WC and showers. No fuel berth, nearest station in the town. Bakery, butcher, fishmonger and supermarket within 200 m on the quai Jean Bart. Saturday morning market on the quayside.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path runs north to the Pointe de Pordic, 4 km, and south to Plage de la Banche. Musée des Traditions et Arts populaires on quai Surcouf tells the story of Binic Iceland cod fishing in the 19th century. Morgat-Bréhec sand beach 200 m from the marina.
