Approach and anchoring

Enter from the Atlantic through the Shark River Inlet, jettied and dredged on a US Army Corps maintenance schedule. The Ocean Avenue bascule bridge has 15ft closed clearance and opens on demand. The marina lies less than half a mile inside the inlet, with about 7ft at mean low water alongside the docks.

Practical

Berths from 30ft to t-heads taking vessels to 120ft, plus 32 jet ski slips. Seasonal berths run 15 April to 14 December. Water and shore power on the floating docks, with full security. An outdoor restaurant and bar sit on the pier.

Ashore

Belmar's downtown shops are two blocks from the marina. The ocean beach and boardwalk are within walking distance. Belmar railway station on the North Jersey Coast Line gives a direct train link to New York.
