- Type
- Harbour
Municipal marina on the Manasquan River at Manasquan, New Jersey, about one mile inside the inlet from the Atlantic.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter from the ocean between the two jetties at the Manasquan Inlet, marked by flashing green 3 to the south and flashing red 4 to the north. The inlet carries depths around 6 to 6.5 metres of channel water but currents run hard, so a working knowledge of the tide is needed. The river is busy with traffic on summer weekends.
Practical
Municipal marina run by the Borough of Manasquan, with 118 berths spread across five dock areas at Cedar Ave, Euclid Ave, Perrine Blvd and Fourth Ave. Berths take boats up to about 9 metres LOA. Leases run from 1 April to 31 March; unrenewed berths go to a residents-first lottery each January. Office on 732-223-0544.
