Approach and anchoring
Shark River is the only small-craft harbour between Sandy Hook and Manasquan Inlet. Enter from the SI buoy through the jettied channel. The Route 71 bridge has a 13 foot closed clearance and the railway bridge upstream only 8 feet. The marina occupies the part of Shark River within the borough, east of Main Street.
Practical
Borough-run marina at Riverfront Park, with berths and fishing facilities. Use is regulated by borough ordinance.
