Private marina at 15 Front Street in Belfast Harbour, on the west side of Penobscot Bay in Maine.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
The approach into Belfast Harbour carries a charted depth of about 20 feet in the channel, and the regional tidal range runs near 10.5 feet. A field of mooring balls begins just inland of the granite spire and red bell at Steele Ledge. Call the harbour master on VHF 9.
Practical
The marina has 52 berths taking draughts up to 8 feet, with water and 30 and 50 amp shore power at each berth and pump-out on site. The municipal Belfast City Landing nearby adds transient berths, rental moorings, petrol and diesel.
Ashore
Belfast town centre sits on the hill above the waterfront, with shops, provisioning and restaurants within walking distance of the berths. Front Street Shipyard, a 485 ton boatyard, spans most of the downtown waterfront.
