Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south across the rade d'Hyères. Sand and posidonia bottom, mandatory to drop on the clear sand patches only, posidonia is legally protected and will not hold. Sheltered from NW through N to W, fully open to the south and SE where a sea rises quickly in sirocco.

Practical

Day anchorage, no services. Port des Salettes 0.1 NM north for berths and small services, Port des Oursinières 2.5 NM west.

Ashore

Sentier du littoral runs along the coast from the cove, west toward Les Oursinières and east toward the Pointe de Carqueiranne. The mining trail of Cap Garonne, a former copper mine now a museum, is around 1.5 km inland by road.
