Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, keeping clear of the rocks fringing the shore. Rocky bottom with weed, holding is unreliable so check the anchor is set. Open to SW through S winds; useable only in settled weather or with N to E breeze.
Practical
No facilities ashore. La Madrague de Giens harbour lies 0.8 NM NE and Port du Niel 1.4 NM E if shelter or services are needed.
Ashore
Sentier du littoral runs along the Giens peninsula and passes above the cove, linking La Madrague to La Tour Fondue. Salt pans of Les Pesquiers are reachable by the coastal path on the peninsula's east side.
