Approach and anchoring
Approach from the W through the Chenal du Four or from the goulet de Brest to the E. Sand bottom, good holding. Sheltered from the NW only; exposed to W, SW and S winds, and to the strong tidal streams of the goulet which reach 4 knots on springs.
Practical
No services. Le Conquet 3,4 NM to the NW for berths, water and shops. Camaret-sur-Mer 5,5 NM to the SE for full marina services.
Ashore
Sentier côtier GR 34 runs along the cliffs of the plateau du Léon above the anse. Pointe Saint-Mathieu and its 19th century lighthouse, standing on the ruins of a Benedictine abbey founded in the 6th century, is about 4 km to the W.
